State Route 39 is a route in the western part of the state. The southern terminus of the route is at its junction with U.S. Highway 11 near Livingston. The northern terminus of the route is at its junction with State Route 14 at Clinton, an unincorporated community in western Greene County. ==Route description== State Route 39 is a rural, two lane route that serves as a connecting route between Livingston and western Greene County. From its origin, the route travels in a northerly direction. At Gainesville, the route junctions and serves as the eastern terminus of State Route 116. From Gainesville, the route turns to the northeast, continuing this trajectory until it junctions State Route 14 at Clinton.
